Abstract Accepted for National Conference on Earthquake Engineering
Keast & Hood Co.’s abstract for “A Case Study: Post-Earthquake Structural Engineering - America’s First Cathedral, Baltimore Basilica” has been accepted for the 10th U.S. National Conference on Earthquake Engineering. The conference will take place July 21-25, 2014 in Anchorage, Alaska.
The abstract was accepted based on independent reviewers’ recommendations. Keast & Hood Co. Principal Matthew J. Daw, PE, LEED AP, and others from the firm will prepare a formal written paper based on the abstract and present it during the conference. The paper has been assigned to a special session entitled “The 2011 Mineral Earthquake and its Impact on Monumental Historic Structures in the Washington D.C Area.”
