Washington National Cathedral Repairs - Preservation’s Fall Cover Story
Washington National Cathedral graces the cover of the Fall 2012 issue of Preservation Magazine, published by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
“Restoration on High,” by Lindsey M. Roberts details the stabilization progress and plans for rebuilding. Washington National Cathedral was damaged during the 5.8-magnitude earthquake that struck the east coast in August 2011. Keast & Hood Co. performed initial post-earthquake structural assessments and has been involved with repair efforts.
