Summer Projects Currently in Construction

Schools out for the summer but construction is in full swing!

While students are out, construction is underway to prepare for their return in the Fall. Let’s look at a few of our projects that are in construction or closing out over the next few months!

Girard College

Girard College

Girard College Founders Hall, Philadelphia, PA – Girard College was originally opened in 1848 as a boarding school for orphan boys. Today, the college is now a five day a week boarding program for boys and girls. Founders Hall, originally built in 1833-1847 is considered one of the finest example of Greek revival architecture in the country. The building is 42,000 square feet, constructed entirely of masonry and cast iron, faced in marble and surrounded by Corinthian columns. The project includes accessibility and mechanical upgrades, a new catering kitchen and audio/visual system and the removal of an interior masonry wall to create a bigger room suitable for large events and conferences.
