Normile and Fair present The Baptist Temple at Design on the Delaware

Principal Thomas Normile, PE, and Associate Patrick Fair, PE, will co-present an overview of The Baptist Temple at Temple University project during Design on the Delaware 2010. The Baptist Temple recently underwent an adaptive reuse transformation, converting the abandoned and decaying 1891 church into a modern, 1,200-seat performing arts center. Keast & Hood Co. provided structural engineering for the project. Co-presenting with Normile and Fair are Ken Jacobs, AIA, former project manager with RMJM; Scott Mack, PE, LEED AP, of HF Lenz Company; and Charles Bethea, Executive Director of the Baptist Temple. The annual Design on the Delaware conference brings together design and building professionals from the region to examine issues and opportunities in the built environment. The Baptist Temple presentation and tour will take place on Wednesday, October 20. Additional information and registration details are available at www.designonthedelaware.com
