Keast & Hood Co. Adds Six New Staff Members

Keast & Hood Co. added six new staff members. Semyon Kurtsman, PE, joined the DC office. Matthew Cornman, PE, Allison Lukachik, PE, Thomas Donnelly, EIT, Justin Unger, EIT, and Sumandeep Singh joined the Philadelphia office.

“The new additions represent growth for our firm and commitment to engineering service for our clients,” said Keast & Hood Co. Principal Constantine Doukakis, PE. “Our new staff members bring diverse structural design experience, computer proficiency, and enthusiasm to their work, and have immediately contributed to projects.”

Semyon Kurtsman holds M.S. and B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering and licensure in Ohio and Maryland. He brings over 30 years of professional experience in the U.S. and abroad.

Matthew Cornman holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and licensure in Pennsylvania and Delaware. In six years of professional experience, he has performed structural condition assessments and design for repair, restoration, and adaptive reuse. He also worked on the recently opened $2 billion Revel Casino in Atlantic City, NJ.

Allison Lukachik holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in Civil/Architectural Engineering from Drexel University and an M.B.A. from Temple University. She is licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida, and Texas. In 10 years of experience, she has managed structural design for large-scale work including the Mercer County Courthouse in N.J. and Pennsylvania Convention Center expansion.

Thomas Donnelly holds dual B.S. degrees in Architectural and Civil Engineering from Drexel University. His experience includes structural design for health care, education, and preservation.

Justin Unger holds M.S. and dual B.S. degrees in Civil and Architectural Engineering from Drexel University. His experience includes forensic studies and structural design for the City of New York.

Sumandeep Singh earned an associate degree in specialized technology from ITT Technical Institute. He brings extensive software, CAD, and 3D modeling skills to his role as a drafter.
