Forum on Architecture + Design Tours
The new Forum on Architecture + Design takes the place of the previous Design on the Delaware conference. “The Forum is focused on curating multidisciplinary educational content for designers, civic leaders, product manufacturers, technology providers, and real estate developers - all the industries that contribute to shaping our built environment.”
As part of the event’s programming, Keast & Hood is co-leading tours of two projects. On Wednesday, October 3rd attendees will have the opportunity to tour the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Core Construction Project as part of the Museum’s Master Plan. Structural Engineer Alex Stadel and Principal Dean Doukakis are leading the tour along with Bob Shaeffer from L.F. Driscoll and Charles Williams from the Museum.
On Thursday, October 4th, attendees will have the opportunity to visit the recently completed and highly successful Hill College House at the University of Pennsylvania. Project Manager Brian Wentz from Keast and Hood will be co-leading the tour along with Michael Mills, Principal from Mills + Schnoering Architects, Bill Curran of Intech Construction, and Mark Kocent, University Architect, University of Pennsylvania.
