DVASE recognizes The Baptist Temple with award
The Delaware Valley Association of Structural Engineers recognized The Baptist Temple at Temple University with an Outstanding Project Award in the 2010 Excellence in Structural Engineering Awards. The award was presented at a reception and dinner on May 26, 2010.
The $29 million Baptist Temple adaptive reuse project converted an 1891 church into a modern, 1,200-seat performing arts venue, including threading new structural steel through historic building fabric. The project architect was RMJM (Hillier); general contractor was Daniel J. Keating Co.
