On November 4th from 3:00 pm to 6:30 PM, Structural Engineer Alex Stadel will present, The Art (& Science) of Structural Engineering as part of the Raymond Farm Center’s Future Architects, Engineers, Designers and Artists Series. This lecture will provide an overview of the engineering fields and explore how understanding materials, forces, and forms can lead to innovative engineering solutions.
The Raymond Farm Center for Living Arts & Design is a non-profit arts organization based in New Hope, Pennsylvania at the former studio/home of the designer-architects Noémi and Antonin Raymond. As part of its mission it functions as an art, design, and cultural center and an artist-in-residency program serving the Bucks County community and the greater Philadelphia/New York region.
The Raymond Farm Center’s Future Architects, Engineers, Designers, and Artist’s Series are programs dedicated to inspiring K-12 + College age students with interests in pursuing a career in the arts, design and engineering professions. These programs are intended to deepen our understanding of the interconnectedness of all these domains and inspire young people who may wish to enter these fields.
