# Building Envelope

## Enhancing the performance and longevity of buildings through intentional enclosure investigation and design.

Our building envelope consulting services are rooted in a holistic understanding of how material behaviors, assembly design, exterior lifecycles, and environmental factors affect a building over time. From historic masonry façades to contemporary curtainwalls and complex roofing systems, we work closely with architects, owners, property managers, and institutions to evaluate and strengthen a building’s exterior performance. Our work spans both new and old buildings, and includes façade ordinance inspections, detailed condition assessments, waterproofing and roofing consulting, and repair design for vertical and horizontal enclosure systems. Whether investigating water intrusion or preparing long-term restoration plans, we help identify vulnerabilities and develop practical, durable, and context-sensitive solutions. Our team combines hands-on field expertise, including SPRAT-certified industrial rope access methods and a deep understanding of optimal construction assemblies, allowing us to recommend repair strategies that consider constructability, longevity, and architectural integrity. Our approach is rooted in collaboration, responsive design support, and a commitment to maintaining and enhancing building performance at every stage.
