Baltimore Basilica, America’s first metropolitan cathedral, was built from 1806-1821. Keast & Hood Co. was the engineer of record for restoration and repairs to the Basilica sustained during the 5.8-magnitude earthquake in August 2011. Keast & Hood Co. led a team of consultants, including Cintec, a global leader in anchoring and reinforcement for masonry structures.
