Two KH Projects Recognized with BD+C Reconstruction Awards

Two Keast & Hood Co. projects are among this year’s 15 winners in Building Design + Construction magazine’s 30th Annual Reconstruction Awards program. Everyman Theatre in Baltimore, Md., and the Statue of Liberty National Monument on Liberty Island, N.Y., were both recognized for their efforts to “forge a bold path for preservation, adaptive reuse, and renewal.”

The Statue of Liberty earned a Gold Award for the team of Mills + Schnoering Architects, National Park Service, Keast & Hood Co., Joseph R. Loring & Associates, Atkins North America, and Joseph A. Natoli Construction.

Everyman Theatre earned a Silver Award for the team of Cho Benn Holback + Associates, Everyman Theatre, Keast & Hood Co., James Posey Associates, Shen Milsom & Wilke, Theatre Project Consultants, Engineering Harmonics, and Lewis Contractors. Keast & Hood Co. prepared the winning submission for the project.
