Preservation magazine features Roebling Gatehouse

Restoration of the Roebling Gatehouse in Kinkora, New Jersey, is featured in the January-February 2011 issue of Preservation, the magazine of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

The Roebling Gatehouse served as the point of entry for workers at the Roebling Wire Works and adjacent company town of Roebling, both designed and built in the 1920s by industrialist John Roebling. Keast & Hood Co. provided structural assessment, stabilization, and structural engineering design for a museum, including emergency stabilization and remediation of the deteriorated structure following a 2003 arson.
