Preservation Alliance Honors Six Keast & Hood Co. Projects

Six Keast & Hood Co. projects were honored by the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia with Grand Jury Awards at the 17th Annual Preservation Achievement Awards luncheon held Wednesday, May 12.

The Academy of Music Ballroom Restoration award recognized the team of KlingStubbins; Artistic Doors and Windows Inc.; Ball and Ball; Brintsons; Femenella and Associates; John Canning Painting & Conservation Studios; Keast & Hood Co.; L.F. Driscoll Co., LLC; Arnold Wood Conservation, LLC; Mathieu Lustrerie; and The Art of Glass, Inc.

The Friends Center Renovation award recognized the team of UJMN Architects + Designers; AKF Engineers; Clemons Construction Co., Inc.; Consilience, LLC; Keast & Hood Co.; and The McGee Company.

The Mask and Wig Club Restoration award recognized the team of Matthew Millan Architects, Inc.; E&M Engineering, Inc.; Edward B. O’Reilly & Associates, Inc.; EverGreene Architectural Arts, Inc.; Historic Surfaces, LLC; Keast & Hood Co.; LaMarra Construction, Inc.; Light Space Design; and Metropolitan Acoustics, LLC.

The Music Building at the University of Pennsylvania award recognized the team of Ann Beha Architects; AHA Consulting Engineers, Inc.; Building Conservation Associates, Inc.; Daniel J. Keating Company; Hunt Engineering Company; Keast & Hood Co.; Kirkegaard Associates; Masonry Preservation Group, Inc.; Stephen Stimson Associates; and Window Repairs and Restoration, LLC.

The Church of St. Luke and the Epiphany Restoration award recognized the team of TranSystems; J.S. Cornell & Son, Inc.; and Keast & Hood Co.

The Strawbridge & Clothier Department Store Interior Restoration award recognized the team of BLT Architects; C.B. Development Services, Inc.; John Milner Associates, Inc.; Keast & Hood Co.; PHY Engineers, Inc.; Shoemaker Construction Co.; and Van Deusen & Associates.
