Keast & Hood Selected as Structural Engineer for 3711 Market Street

Keast & Hood Co. has been selected as the structural engineer for the new 3711 Market Street building in the Science Center Research Park in West Philadelphia. The mixed-use, 11-story building will include 130,000 square feet of flexible laboratory and office spaces, 15,000 square feet of ground-level retail space, and structured parking for more than 500 vehicles. The fast-track project is being designed to be a LEED certified redevelopment. The architects of record are the Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Partnership and Ueland Junnker McCauley Nicholson. INTECH is the construction manager and Vinokur Pace is providing MEP services. The Science Center is a life sciences and high tech incubator known as a “venture ecosystem.”
