Keast & Hood Presented with Dragon Exemplar Award

On Friday, May 4th, Keast & Hood was presented with the inaugural Dragon Exemplar Award by Drexel University’s Construction Management Advisory Council. The Dragon Exemplar Award is given for “extraordinary contribution and achievement in improving the built environment.”

Senior Principal and Vice President, Constantine “Dean” Doukakis accepted the award on the firm’s behalf. The award was presented by Douglas Carney, AIA LEED AP, Construction Management Clinical Professor.

The evening included presentation of the 2018 Senior Awards & Sigma Lamda Chi Honor Society Induction Ceremony. It was highlighted by the Construction Management program’s premier of, To Preserve These Walls, a documentary detailing how a structural collapse during a Friday afternoon Philadelphia Orchestra concert was averted and the roles that multiple firms served in its emergency repair, including Keast & Hood’s role as the Structural Engineer
