Multiple Firm Projects Receive Preservation Awards

To say that Philadelphia and the surrounding region is filled with a plethora of historic assets would be an understatement. The city has the highest concentration of prewar buildings in the US, second only to New York City. Keast & Hood is lucky to have been founded in such a place and as such, a majority of the firm’s practice has centered around historic preservation over the past 65 years.

This year, we are honored to be on multiple teams receiving Grand Jury Awards from the Preservation Alliance of Greater Philadelphia, including the Longwood Gardens Main Fountain Revitalization with Beyer Blinder Belle, the University of Pennsylvania Hill College House renovation with Mills + Schnoering Architects, Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law Building, and the conservation of the William Penn Statue atop City Hall project.

We look forward to celebrating these successes during the Preservation Alliance’s awards ceremony in June and hope to see you there!
