ENR Mid Atlantic Merit Award for Museum of the American Revolution

The new Museum of the American Revolution was recently named a Best Project of 2017 and received an Award of Merit in the Cultural/Worship category from Engineering News Record Mid Atlantic.

The new 120,000 Square Foot building is the only museum dedicated to telling the story of the American Revolution and is a respectful addition to Philadelphia’s historic, Independence Mall district. A tight construction site, massive de-watering efforts, the support of heavy precast panels, and the design of a monumental elliptical stair were all highlights that went into making this an award winning project. For more information on the museum and Keast & Hood’s structural design, please visit its project page HERE.

Keast & Hood is extremely proud of the new museum and wishes to congratulate INTECH Construction, Robert A. M. Stern Architects, Dan Bosin and Associates, and the entire project team!
